Description:
The Health Service Management Programme, a collaboration between the HKU admissions office and Shenzhen Hospital, is designed for high school students. It offers comprehensive courses on healthcare administration, leadership, and policy development. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, students develop essential skills for effective healthcare management. The programme aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to succeed in the ever-changing healthcare industry. The curriculum combines theoretical fundamentals with real-world applications.
Programme Name: HKU Budding Health Leader Programme
Programme Period: July 15 - 26, 2024 (1 week at HKU & 1 week at Shenzhen Hospital)
Target Audience: S4-S6 / Year 11-13 / 2024-26 September University Intake
Programme Fee:
HK$8,000 (Academy member)
HK$15,000 (Non-member)
The programme fee will cover tuition fee, accomodation in Shenzhen. Personal consumption expenses are not included. (additional charges may apply).

Eligibility:
(1) S4–S6
(2) Possessor of (a) HKID Card and (b) Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents which are valid and effective at both the date of the application and the programme dates. (Applicants are required to submit copies of the two said documents showing the effective dates.)
